Through sleet or snow….

Brrrrr. The mid-western United States and north eastern U.S. and Canada have been hit hard with snow and ice. What a perfect time for a web cast! Of course, sometimes it’s simply impossible for a professional Internet broadcaster like Sandy Audio Visual (SAV) to come to you, or for you to come to us due to extreme weather conditions. In that case, we’d be very happy to consult with you on how you can still make you class, program, or seminar go forward.

If you are lucky enough to have power, a laptop with a built-in camera and either a home (preferred) or wireless Internet connection – you’re in business! There are many freely available software options that can help you make that speech, lecture, or business pitch without leaving the comfort of your home. For example, Windows Messenger, Skype, and Oovoo are free video conferencing options you could use. UStream is a good alternative as well if you need to do a broadcast.

Of course, if you have a mission critical presentation or a large audience, SAV is able to provide reliable content delivery network (CDN) services. Contact us and we’ll help get your content moving.
