The good folks at StudioTech have already begun their NAB 2014 coverage and will have video online soon. One of the highlights for StudioTech will no doubt be the “Studio Experience” pavillion, which highlights technologies from manufacturers such as Intel, NewTek, and their development partners.
The collaborative effort was more low key last year, but Intel has truly ramped up its marketing of what can be done with NewTek’s TriCasters, which are based on their processor technology.
Many large players in the streaming media space have embraced the advantage of having a software based appliance. Look out from news by Elemental, who have made a marketing C change be touting the advantages of software-ware based encoders for streaming media content.
Highlights to watch out for today are news from the AJA press conference, the Blackmagic Design press conference this morning, and the NewTek press conference this afternoon.
NewTek has already announced through its website a new replay device called the 3Play 440, which adds switching and adaptive real time color correction to its feature set.
