Project Overview
Sandy Audio Visual (SAV) led a comprehensive technical and human resources audit of the audiovisual (AV) systems at the Wilson Center โ a globally recognized think tank under the Smithsonian Institution.
A specialized team of senior subject matter experts in AV technology, cybersecurity, and human resource planning collaborated to assess system functionality, operational effectiveness, and future readiness.
Infrastructure Highlights
The Wilson Centerโs AV ecosystem included:
- Shure wireless microphone systems
- TriCaster video switching platforms
- Bosch interpretation/translation systems
- Canon PTZ cameras
SAV evaluated the performance, utilization, and cybersecurity posture of these systems, ensuring recommendations aligned with best practices and security frameworks.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
In collaboration with Braxton-Grant Technologies, Inc., SAV conducted a cybersecurity audit using the NIST SP 800-171 framework to ensure system integrity and protection of sensitive content. The review addressed both technology and staffing, ensuring a holistic evaluation.
